Visiting and Settling In
“Parents are extremely well involved in assessments of children ensuring their views are incorporated to enhance accuracy of staff’s assessments.” Ofsted 2014
The settling in process is important for you and your child and we would encourage you to visit for as long as you wish to for a trial/settling in period. There is no obligation to continue attendance and no charges will be made provided the parent/carer remains at the Centre. Even once your child is settled, spending time at the Centre with them is encouraged because we have found it has a positive impact on the child's development and fosters closer partnerships.
In addition to settling sessions we run free 'Coffee, Stay and Play' for under three year olds and their parents/carers/grandparents. These are held on Friday 09:00-11:00. At these sessions you have the opportunity to meet other parents over a cup of tea or coffee and see how the Centre works. You don't need to register with the Centre nor are you obliged to book a place for your child.
Please note we operate a strict no smoking policy in the Centre and its grounds.
